Different conditions upstairs and downstairs
Upstairs rooms and the attic had fire, smoke, and heat damage. Water damage on the first floor added another part to the cleanup, with work extending through connected rooms, the hallway, and the kitchen.
The team had to account for the damaged construction and the belongings still inside the home. Clearing the rooms and coordinating items that could be saved were part of making the affected areas accessible for work.
Opening the affected construction
Hugo carried out demolition and removed affected insulation and ductwork. Downstairs work included kitchen and hallway demolition, with cabinets and appliances removed as part of the kitchen work.
Removing those materials opened the damaged areas for further attention. The photos show fire-damaged ceiling and wall construction, smoke staining, and interior surfaces affected by the loss.
Cleaning framing and managing the debris
The team cleaned framing and worked through the debris from the removal work. Field work also included taking out remaining fasteners, clearing waste, and keeping access through the affected spaces.
Debris handling and structural cleaning were connected parts of the job. As rooms were cleared and materials removed, the team could reach more of the construction that needed cleaning.
Keeping salvageable belongings in view
The team coordinated salvageable contents as the work moved through the home. Belongings that could be kept were separated from items and debris being removed, with contents handling coordinated alongside the building work.
Fire and water cleanup completed across both levels
Hugo completed the material-removal and structural-cleaning work, along with debris handling and coordination of salvageable contents. The cleanup brought together the different needs of the fire-damaged upper level and the water-affected first floor.
