SMS Terms
Last updated: May 29, 2026. This page explains how Hugo Fire & Water Restoration presents important website policies.
What SMS Terms Mean for You
These terms explain how service-related text messages may be used for restoration requests, scheduling, dispatch updates, documentation, and customer support.
- Customer SMS consent is optional and separate from requesting restoration service.
- Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.
- SMS and website forms are not life-safety emergency systems.
Text Messages for Service Updates
When SMS is available and you choose to receive service-related texts, messages may help with appointment details, dispatch updates, documentation follow-up, or customer service connected to your restoration request. You can ask for help or stop texts according to the instructions on this page.
Program Names
The SMS program names are Hugo Fire & Water Restoration Service Updates and Hugo Fire & Water Restoration Team Service Alerts.
Program Description
Hugo Fire & Water Restoration Service Updates may send customers, property contacts, or authorized representatives service-related SMS/MMS messages about restoration requests, emergency help, appointment scheduling, dispatch updates, technician or office follow-up, documentation support, and customer service. Hugo Fire & Water Restoration Team Service Alerts may send opted-in employees and authorized team members team service alerts about customer calls, website restoration requests, callback details, dispatch follow-up, customer-care support, and documentation support.
SMS Communication Consent
Customers opt in by checking a separate optional SMS consent box on a website form or by another documented consent method that includes the SMS disclosure. The website SMS checkbox is unchecked by default and SMS consent is not required as a condition of purchasing, requesting, or receiving restoration services. Employees and authorized team members opt in through a separate team communications consent form before their mobile number is added to the team alert program. The team form asks the recipient to enter their full name, role or work email, and mobile phone number; review the SMS disclosure; actively check a separate unchecked SMS consent box; and sign or submit the form. Team SMS consent is voluntary and is not required as a condition of employment, job assignment, or any service transaction. Optional marketing messages, if ever offered, require separate voluntary consent and are not required as a condition of purchasing property, goods, or services.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on restoration request volume, appointment status, active restoration work, documentation needs, customer communication needs, and team service alert volume. A restoration request may involve multiple messages while the request, appointment, job, or documentation matter is active.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
Opt Out
To opt out, reply STOP to any text message from Hugo Fire & Water Restoration. After you send STOP, you may receive one confirmation text. Service-related communication may still be needed through another channel for active requests, appointments, billing, or documentation matters.
Help
For help with service-related communication, reply HELP, email disasterservices@hugofireandwaterrestoration.com, or call (888) 484-6669.
